Shipping

We pride ourselves in our packaging and handling expertise.   We are dedicated to excellence in shipping greenhouse direct.  From our greenhouse to your door:  always consistent, always the best.

Policies and procedures:

  • Each plant is packaged in an individual sleeve and cushioned with foam peanuts for a secure arrival.
  •  Orchids are shipped in budding stage and bromeliads are shipped in three quarters to high color.
  •  Our products are shipped using the safest and the most economical method of transportation to get the order to you as fresh and as quickly as possible.
  •  Shipping days are Mondays and Tuesdays.  Shipping may be available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at an additional charge.
  • Any claims MUST be made within 24 hours of arrival and will be reviewed promptly to verify if any credit is due.  Please contact our Orchid Distributors customer service line at (305) 242-5678.
  •  We will not be responsible any delay or damage of any of the product that may be caused by natural disasters such as storms, heavy snow, fire, and/or earthquakes.
  • Incomplete or incorrect shipping address will result in delays.

Unpacking Procedures:

  1. Before opening box, have a holding tray or counter top readily available to place your plant on.  Gently lower the individual plastic sleeve and completely remove the sleeve as you take out each plant from the box.
  2. Remove any leaves that may have yellowed during shipping.  Some dendrobiums and bromeliads specifically will naturally yellow toward the bottom leaves and may need some clean up.
  3. Display in a well lit area. Avoid direct sunlight which will damage the foliage.
  4. Check soil for moisture. If dry, water thoroughly and then allow drying before watering again. It is wise to water Dendrobiums only once a week.
